Similar to their Extra Torpedo with a hint of Hop Hunter.
On first taste these reminds me of a typical Sierra Nevada IPA. Heavy, resin piney flavours with a hint of citrus and floral on the nose. The bitterness of the initial taste subsides very quickly.
Brewed using “wet”, undried whole cone hops that are added to the beer 24 hours after being harvested.
This beer is what you drink while harvesting hops that would be used to make this very beer. The early evening as the sun sets and the trucks roll out with the hops packed ready to be delivered overnight to the brewery. A hard days work deserves a beer like this.
