Shepherd Neame – Spitfire English Ale

Brewery: Shepherd Neame in Faversham, England

Style: Amber Ale

ABV: 4.5%

Rate Beer: 36/100

Pour: Light golden Amber colour with a small head on pour.

Strong malty flavour. Almost smokey at times. Sometimes caramel. Sometimes even a subtle chocolate tone in there. It’s not what I was expecting but was at the same time. Clearly I’m confused by this. I thought it would be horrible. But it’s not so bad. I could drink a pint of this in some ye olde English pub.

I drink beer. And occasionally I'll write about it. But mostly, I drink beer.
