Brewed from the recipe of a homebrew competition winner. I entered this same comp, but knew either a fruit forward IPA or NEIPA would win. So I brewed an Old Ale. Because I don’t like winning. But this is a good beer. Plenty of tropical fruit flavours and a light, slightly hazy maltiness. Probably best they didn’t go with my beer. Can’t see many of the Dan Murphy crowd looking to drink an old ale. (Despite the fact it ended up being a really good beer. Oh well)
