Weihenstephaner – Pils

Brewery: Bayerische Staatsbrauerei in Bayern, Germany

Style Pilsner

ABV 5.1%

IBUs:   32

Rate Beer:  44/100

Pour Straw yellow colour with a big foamy white head.

A white bread, almost pasta type flavour. There’s a noble hop bitterness that is quite herbal and spicy. It doesn’t feel as balanced as a Czech Pilsner. It may not be the freshest version of this beer either to be honest. I feel like on tap in a Munich beer hall, served in a cold stein glass, it would be much more refreshing and drinkable.

I drink beer. And occasionally I'll write about it. But mostly, I drink beer.
